If the sticks were made similar to ski sticks, but had rubber
spikes to help push you along, and also stop you falling over so
much.

Actually, [waugs], they pre-existed the inline skates but nobody knew what to do with them. |

before inline skates, there were roller skis. actually, they still exist for dry-land cross-country ski training. and they require the use of roller poles-type poles. |
