windscreen wipers everywhere

Cleaning solution

It's pretty amazing how a car windscreen is kept clean by pressing a wee button which squirts cleaning liquid on it and wipes the liquid away with a motorised rubber blade.

Proposed is to gradually fit such a squirter-blade system to everything.

e.g. the floor, the walls, book covers, dinner plates

Some objects will be unsuitable, this can be discovered by trial and error, or by inductive reasoning (e.g. sheep, doormats, banknotes)

But then what cleans the windscreen wipers?

You pull them back on a funny spring hinge and wipe them with a cloth.

This actually may be workable, even without squirts. The surface could be made wet by a string, that gets has extra threads to deliver the cleaning fluid. Assuming that the string cleans itself by a slingshot-like addition, that runs across it to remove the dust from its surface once in a while, what you'd have to still do though, is replace the fluid, and throw away the collected dust packets.
