whatami.com
instead of finding out if you are "x" or not (x = hot, goth, whatever) one finds out what they definitely ARE. | |
One submits their picture to whatami.com.
Visitors are randomly presented with pictures and questions. One visitor may be asked if the person pictured is hot or not, another may be asked if the person is fat, another may be asked if the person looks smart, etc, etc (add as many variables as possible).
User
logs on and sees that people think they are fat, look stupid, and are very goth (and whatever else).
User may very well find out they are things they didn't even know they were, and wouldn't have thought of submitting their picture to a website to find out. (and AFAIK, there isn't a amialiarornot.com, or a shouldigetanosejobornot.com, etc...)

I would like this better if, rather than a fixed and necessarily small set of categories, the site would rate things against words picked at random from a general-purpose dictionary. |

UB- why is it any more of a waste of time than the halfbakery? :) |

icertainlydounderrstand.com however, a whatami.com site would eliminate the redundancy of all those other sites. consider it tidyingupthenet.com besides, it's not entirely about whether you're LIKED by others or not. it's all entertainment, dude. if the site existed, UB, you'd probably find out that people think you're an ass. but then, you don't care if others like you, and you probably know that already anyway... <sigh> |

Tidying up the net? My God man you've got a tall order there. If you are concerned about redundant web sites, I'm afraid you are in for a major task. If all you care about is tidying up this particular redundancy, I'd say your energies aren't very well placed. Why is half-bakery less of a waste of time than those stroke-me dot coms? Because at least here the likes of you have a chance to receive valuable life instruction like this. |
