Right then,

When on my local fitness club treadmill or bike I love listening to trance music. I set the machine to "hill climb" and the music pushes me on and on. Now wouldn't it be great if as I pushed so did the music?

I understand that Microsoft brought out its "Kinetic" product and immediately hackers set about modifying its interface. Couldn't this be interfaced to software made e.g., for games such as the FMOD software, so that it sensed your moves and linked it to music? Could be a huge amount of fun!

To the clever ones out there, get hacking!

       Hi! Welcome to the halfbakery!

I'm certain that this idea is redundant on the bakery. I distinctly recall at least one other idea where music is linked to motion/motivation in an exercising environment.

I thought there was an app like this for the iphone using your motions while exercising to modulate music. If I can find it I will post the link, if not somebody should produce/promote it.
