Yeah, I wish it made more sense too.

This is for sad letters or letters you know will make people cry

half is paper and half is tissue 5.5" of paper 5.5" of tissue

read the good or bad news that makes you cry and then wipe your tears away with the other half

Shouldn't the tears fall on a loved one?

Will it be like tears in rain ... ?

I like this a lot. Needs a better name and a better category, but all in all a clever idea to help with that "hand me a hankie", awkward moment.

[+] They could come in a box with a different sad story on each, for those moments when you almost but not quite need a tissue.

i agree it needs a much better name

as for the category, I have adopted a new strategy. when i post an idea in the products category I garner like .0005 seconds of screen time and the equivalent amount of commentary and that's no fun. so other is a not so saturated category. I visit page two but i'm not so sure that that's a popular activity.

if they came with sad stories printed on the paper half they could be called Tear Jerkers or Sob Stories

       Lamentationary?

This was done in an old cartoon. The letter turns into a hankerchief as it scrolls down the letter.

A less fanciful and more easily created solution is to package a small pack of tissues with the letter.
