The ShimmyPhone is equipped with an array of minute sensors to detect when excess moisture, dust, or dirt has built up on its surface.

If it's not in use at the time, it then beeps to signal its user. Then the phone shakes and tosses itself about to dislodge any dust or dirt particles. When the phone detects that all the dust is gone, it stops. The internals of the phone are, of course, specially designed to resist vibration damage. No more dust buildup on your screen and keypad!

An ultra-sonic shimmy with the phone being waterproof might fix the scale problem.
