Parade magazine says
A recent study in the journal Archives of Internal Medicine showed that if you sleep less than seven hours a night, you have a three times higher risk of getting a cold than if you sleep more than eight hours. Scientists at Carnegie Mellon University asked 153 healthy adult men
and women about their sleeping habits, then dosed them with nasal drops containing rhinovirus--one of the viruses responsible for the common cold. The virus took hold more readily among the less-rested
I think a time release live vaccine with a stimulant would be much more effective at vaccinating people
It may be possible to use just a third as much active vaccine material plus some cheap stimulant to immunize people This gives many more vaccinations at the developing world at a particular funding amount
also things like freeze dried vaccines that are much cheaper to deploy are being developed these are often just partially effective A time release freeze dried vaccine plus a stimulant may be sufficiently active to deploy right now
Further it is possible that nonlive vaccines are most effective with lots of sleep as its possible first immune response is compromised with lack of sleep thus a cheap sedative plus time release nonlive vaccine could bring benefit
babies could have a nap rather than a stick

contextually "sleep" is the rejuvenation of the immune system, so drugging up or down the body would likely be worthless or a waste of good drugs. [-] |

well if the vaccine were the virus the CMU researchers used then the immune response was much fuller among those with less sleep |
They got the cold thus they produced the antibodies |

Ah I see... no wait, I don't. |
Suppressed immune system means susceptibility to live virus. |
Enhanced immune system means faster production of antibodies. |

You're WRONG, it's six and a half times more effective, but only when harsh exercise and whipping with canes is also included. |

Do you think stimulants and sedatives are the same thing? |
That's what I was going to say - stimulants will be more likely to keep people awake, Shirley? |
