Being a lazy human, I would like everything done for me. Making a cluster of the variety of home machines is, well ... I haven't got around to it yet.

I propose a cluster USB install/live OS that can be loaded onto the machines that can boot it. This OS knows the stick and can verify and authorize, with keys, subsequent installed machines. All machines loaded with the OS, with that specific USB stick, can share files, memory, storage and program running and generally act as a gestalt machine.

How else am I going to process my complete DNA transcript for anomalous sections?
