Build a combination golf driving range, and skeet shooting range.

As the golfers launch the balls, the skeet shooters knock the balls out of the sky, instead of clay pidgeons.

Caddies must wear kevlar vests.

       'Bubba - 3 things:
Do the club across shoulders bit to ensure you're lining up straight at target. What seems like straight shoulders, usually ain't.
Stick your rear end out - you'll get the correct pivot, and gain actual control of your swing, top to bottom.
After that's nailed, a little foot repositioning = a nice 'draw' on the ball which adds even more distance, or a controlled fade for those dogleg rights. With the butt hanging out to *there*, you won't be hooking or slicing, that's for sure.

       Baked?

We have, ever since I was a kiddie, had a game where we tried to hit the ball gatherers on the driving range. It's fair. They never venture close to the golfers during the session and long drives at a moving object are the true test of a golfer's skill.

It has sadly resulted in an escalation of the equipment race. The retreivers used to wear steel cages, but these were replaced by armored (cage) retreival tractors. Some ranges around here use the lake-retreival system. The golfers get more technologically advanced gear.

AFAIK, no injuries have ever been caused by this game, which is more than I can say for traditional golf.
