[a1] your phone has a removable crank?

[pocmloc] Most phones have a crank. It’s at the other end of the hand that’s holding it.

Considering no one ever goes anywhere without their phone anyway, standalone devices like this just become yet another item adding bulk in my pocket. If your issue with phones is that they're too distracting, there are easy ways to deal with that. Turn on Do Not Disturb mode, put it in ultra battery saver mode, which depending on the device also switches to greyscale/black and white display. There are so many ways that smartphone makers are enabling you to make them less distracting, a standalone device isn't necessary.
