Seriously, why haven't we seen anything like this yet?

Basically its a very simple app that checks if you have facebook/myspace or something.

If you do, it will also check if you are in a relationship. If you are, then it takes the name of that person, and scans all contact methods, e.g. your instant messaging.

Once it has every method to reach your girl/boy friend. It will immediately make you single, and do a public message that you are breaking up with her on every channel. (It will also make a 'personal' message to your significant other to inform her personally that you are breaking up with her to be with *random named chick on facebook*)

There is more that can be done with this program, but I'm sure I shall just leave it to the virus writer to think it up further.

Tl;dr A Trojan/Virus/Worm horse that communicates on the internet that you are breaking up with your girl/boyfriend.

I was recently contemplating a virus-in-facebook type idea to post here. I didn't do it, just cause I thought it wouldn't bring much discussion, and I don't remember my idea as of right now, but ... + for proving me slightly wrong.

Wouldn’t your significant other just turn to you and say “hey, someone’s been hacking into your account!”

hmmm... why not stop at girlfriend... instead how about making the virus de-friend and slander 50% of all your friends.

       Why stop at 50%?
pocmloc, Nov 08 2010

Because second hand rumors that the guy/girl is a douchbag is somehow more effective than just doing it straight up to every single person.

       I know, its sad isn't it :p ?
