if tears or water can make dramatic improvements in nearsightedness, so should an eyedrop with just the right refractiveness for your vision problem. and it lasts longer than tears because it has a gas permeable oil base or some kind of base anyway that lasts longer than water and won't get washed out of your eyes by normal tearing.

I'm picturing this as something like magic chocolate shell syrup on ice cream -- you drop it in and it molds to your cornea to become essentially a regular soft contact lens.

[hippo], you are a historian, or maybe an archeologist. You sure can pick them

[sinan314] was around for a week or so.

Are you opening up the cold case files and seeing if you can solve the missing 'bakers cases ?

Thank you for trying to find some closure for these.

We seem to have missed quite a few transient bakers in 2000 - was there something good on TV that year?

There was an economy happening - they may have moved to better paying jobs.

Alas, I am now coming to the end of the year 2000 Halfbakery archaeology. There are very few users left who only have a single idea, which also was posted in 2000 and has no annotations.

Yes, you're right - a missed opportunity on this idea

Was there a short period in 2000 when the Halfbakery was a social climbing exercise ?
