So I didn't search very long to see if anything like this existed,
but I thought if something like a piano roll was inside the
body
of the bike,
pedaling would play the music. You could change
the tempo of the music and certainly you would *hear* when
you were getting tired.
So maybe this would help me get on my bike if there was
some
awesome rolls of music!
Vaguely related - rotary music ...

Wonderful idea. Also, on the subject of rotary music, see linky. |

The carousel in Balboa park in San Diego has an
automatic band that runs off of rolls like the
player piano. I see ads for places where you can
ride exercise bikes in the semidarkness surrounded
by buff sweaty folks - dance club like? I think this
piano roll exercise bike concept should be
expanded to the carousel but the buff sweaty folks
are pedaling various unicorns, giraffes and carousel
horses, their efforts slowly turning the lot of them
and also powering the oompah music from the 100
year old automatic band. |

Post it, [bungston], and they will bun. I do enjoy that carousel. |

Human powered vehicle (multi-seat) with a fairground organ on the back ? Pedalling provides both propulsion and entertainment. |

Small version: One-man bicycle band. |

oh [Ian] you found my video....? haha |

Nice, I would like an add-on cassette to retro fit all those
stationary bicycle rollers. Maybe a roller unit between the
rollers and bicycle wheel. |
