Some search engines show you what other people are
searching on at the same time. Amazing to see that there
are
actually a lot of people looking for mp3, anal, etc. This
feature
would demonstrate to us that the Halfbakery crowd is not
like
that. Or if it is, this posting will be among the

I think at least a few of those Jeeves ones are fakes...How many people are actually going to type 'Where can I find the popular car site Hummer.com?', and not notice the address is RIGHT THERE? or 'Could you please direct me to the Internet search engine Google?' |

Excite's Voyeur is incredible, yes realistic. People are
really entering complete URLs as searches. Or a difficult
to find website like 'yahoo'... Amazing how many people
still appreciate the www if they can't tell a search engine
from a location bar. Really, it's hilarious! They search for:
My Computer or C:Program Files or hotmail! If only I could
*see* these people! Please invent something, at least
reveal their IP-address... |

Entering a URL does sometimes have a point, r^3. If there was a page you liked but it's gone now, finding other people with the same URL listed may give you a clue; the page itself if it has 'This page used to be at...' |

For banality, you can't beat the Portal Of Evil recent searches list. Generally something along the lines of |

The searches on this site are probably much more interesting, and people entering complete URLs is a common mistake in the cursors position. I've seen many users mix the "address" and the "search for" edit fields. |
