Just think of it- it's the middle of the night, your kid wants to go to the bathroom, but it's dark. He pulls on his new animal nightlight slippers, and two beams of light shine from the eyes of the dragon/elephant/dog as soon as his feet hit the floor! Functional and fun! You could make it "contact
only" so that as you walk, one light is always on, but when you're resting, neither eye gets lit (saving batteries). I really think this could be the "Tickle Me Elmo" of X-mas 2004.
