       My browser must be running slow... I get the same taglines I got two weeks ago...

       Too bad [MaxB]'s browser in running in the backwards Time Machine...

       Yes, I'd noticed also - NICE!
normzone, Apr 02 2012

       Everybody is winding me up, right? I mean, I flick through the taglines from time to time, and the ones I get now are the same as the ones I got several weeks ago.

       Or am I going insane? Actually I am, but that doesn't really settle the matter.
MaxwellBuchanan, Apr 02 2012

       Max, I get the same old ones I have always got. I think someone is pulling a prank.
blissmiss, Apr 02 2012

       Thank goodness. I thought I was having that precise- visions-of-the -future-except- the-lottery-numbers thing again.

Some NEW - some old...like our brains.

       So are there a crop of new taglines or not?!! If so, I'm one of the 'Bakers who is not seeing them. If this is a joke, I don't think very many of us are getting it.
Alterother, Apr 03 2012

       OMG - it's not a joke. There ARE new taglines. I wouldn't have thanked [jutta] as a joke!!!
xandram, Apr 04 2012

       Perhaps the taglines are new in the sense that Menard's _Quixote_ was new. That is, all the old taglines have been removed, and replaced with new ones, which are identical, but written *by someone else*

       yup, I saw one yesterday, and a couple possibles today, too. woot :)
FlyingToaster, Apr 04 2012

       OK, thank you [FT]. I sometimes may be crazy, but not yet blind.

       Now, if [jutta] is playing tricks and only allowing certain halfbakers to see certain tag lines...that would be so cool!!!

       An example of a new one for me [bigsleep] is //Neural Knotwork//.(and the one I wrote farther up about the onion, etc...)
xandram, Apr 05 2012

       How about //Guitar Hero: 4'33"//?
//Futility is Persistent//?
xandram, Apr 05 2012

       Just because it WAS an anno, doesn't mean it was a tag-line before...I give up. You people can think what you want.
xandram, Apr 05 2012

       I can't help thinking that there's an easy way to settle this. Our esteemed [jutta] could resolve the question.

       As someone who fairly often flicks through the taglines, I don't think that many (or any) of the current ones have been added within the last few weeks. But it could be déja vu.
MaxwellBuchanan, Apr 05 2012

       Okay, I finally saw a new one. Comments retracted.
Alterother, Apr 05 2012

       whew!!
And I think she's adding them as we speak!
//Baker Street Irregulars//?
xandram, Apr 05 2012

       No I think I submitted that one to mostly lame taglines about five years ago. I was reading a bunch of Sherlock Holmes back then.
rcarty, Apr 06 2012

       I've noticed individual new taglines creep in but no sudden influx of newness.

       //Alas, poor spelling// is new.
and //may contain nuts// changed to //trying to contain nuts//

       //On the one hand, true. On the other hand, bollocks.// is fairly recent as well.

       I'm not sure what's happened but i did start paying more attention to the taglines than i had, so it's possible that i just noticed ones i previously hadn't.
