mmm2
use extra long range missiles to mine our satellite | |
The mmm contains a shell that is a return rocket. The shell
would be design to bite into the surface on impact, sealing
off
a payload of material. The load container then fires
creating
a beautiful man made crater and a "long-shot" profit on re-
entry
recovery.
MMM also stands for

I like this for a science fiction short story first
contact concept. Many such would land across our
planet, taking a bite of whatever and then shooting
back. Alien invasion by aliens with 1970s
technology. Humans calculate return trajectory
and beat returning rockets back to their source.
Awed aliens there apologize humbly and profusely,
blaming administrations of several decades prior for
this poorly thought out idea. |

How much is a handful of moon dust worth? |

This seems like an interesting idea, but on closer inspection
it is revealed to be interesting and yet not a complete
idea. Perhaps some context to help the uninformed
understand what the hell you're on about would engender a
more favorable reaction from [The Alterother]. |

mmm cheese ( the 2 is a halfbakery/computer file
naming artifact). Sorry I
have been playing too much Hearts lately. |

I disagree, this is an complete idea. How detailed,
feasible, or sane the idea is, is totally debatable. I
thought mass production of a simplification of an
idea was how mankind became great. |

The value is all speculation until a mineral surveyor
