Any one who has ever broken there leg knows what a hassle it is to keep your leg elevated when walking with crutches. I have a solution you can picture a person with there arm in a sling why not a leg sling that keeps your leg in a comfortable position while it was broken. It would wrap around your shin and attach to your belt or pants to keep your leg in a comfortable position

If it's broken, you probably shouldn't wail on it.

       sorry i fixed that

This would be okay until you tried to sit down or stand up on your crutches as being able to move your leg greatly assists balance. Also as you sat down, the sling would be caught under you and bend your leg further.

//Imagine Miss Universe, the way their geographic location is bannered around their chest//
I wonder if Miss Greece remembers that night of the Miss Universe Pageant when our eyes met - hers so beautiful, mine so bugged out of their sockets.

It might be easier to wear a platform-soled shoe on the healthy foot, thus generating the necessary clearance under the cast-bound leg. Naturally, the platform should not be so tall as to cause further limb-breakage.

Boy, this sure does fit the description of what I saw on a site not too long ago. Go to www.webbslegsling.com and you will see the device you described in action.
