the traditional round or oval shaped soap fits nicely in the palm of the hand but it is also the very shape that will most easily slip from your grasp.
oh, what fun trying to locate a bar of soap under the water! youd think it were possessed of jet-propulsion and a sense of humour.
the trendy
square bars, I find, are not very comfortable to run over the skin - in fact the corners are quite aggressive.
now, if the soap were designed along the lines of a knuckle-duster pierced with several holes (in all ring sizes) - then you would be able to insert one, two or three fingers into the apertures and retain a firm grip on the bar whilst lathering up.

Use a soap sponge, babe! I'd send you one for your birthday, but it's too late. |

This is oddly aggressive for you, even if it's soap - you been watching the Sopranos? |

gonna beat up my duck. he's been giving me funny looks. |

Be good for partner punch ups in the bath. Fighting with
the soap instead of over it. |

When I was a student, I designed a knuckle duster that
actually dusted and vacuumed... I'm sure that idea is well
baked by now, but I never thought of this variation which
is a little gem + |

how did that work xenzag? |

.... sorry po - just noticed your question,
because of jutta's link. It was shaped like a
knuckle duster, but had brushes
protruding instead of the usual "knuckle
lumps", and a short section of tubing
running along the edge attached to a small
suction pump that you wore on your wrist
like a large watch - it never caught on -
wonder why? |

//perfect for prisons too - no dangerous bending over movements and self defence while showering.// |

I would have felt a lot safer using this soap when I was in the Navy. |
