This is an airbag inside of your keyboard that inflates when you pass out and your head falls on the keyboard. It will be comfortable and soft enough to use as a pillow. Pressing a button will retract the pillow so you can continue typing when you wake up.
Airbag Desk

Keyboard Emergency Airbag
http://www.we-make-...archives/004898.php Somewhat related: an airbag that prevents call center workers from typing when customers are being abusive to them. Just a prototype. [krelnik, Mar 11 2005]

Those keyboard imprints on the side of your face can be so embarrassing, can't they? Here's a fluffy croissant on which to rest your head. |
I like it when sleep drool causes the keys to stick to my face. |
Yeah, but have you heard of all the damage that air bags can cause? I can just see the lawsuits from whiplash victims and people with the letters "QWERTY" indellibly and permanently embedded into their forehead. |
Not to mention you could only make out "QWERTY" if you saw them in your rear view mirror. How embarrasing. |
Possible extra cost option: a little vacuum device to suck up drool. Can also be used to clean up lunch crumbs from between your keys. |

Oh and welcome to the bakery, great first post. (WTAGIPBAN) |

It's not quite baked, but it's got competition... (see link) |

[bliss] - the reappearance of the auto-boner. |
It's not my fishbone but, would it really do much good to inflate the airbag after your head hits the keyboard? There's no mention of how it might inflate before contact. Not even any mention that it does inflate before contact. That might account for a fishbone. |

So, if I was to vote on this, I would probably vote negative. |

Wasn't me, but I never look at the votes anyway. The annos are far more entertaining and tell a much truer story. |
