I once went on a sea kayaking trip with some friends to a small island off the west coast of Canada. One friend, a diehard musician type, brought his guitar along wrapped in seventeen garbage bags and lashed to the back of his kayak. How much easier it would have been to bring along an inflateable
(there is an "e" isn't there) guitar: the Fender Inflatercaster.

Yes, there is an 'e'. But only one. Your friend might wish to try one of the several 'travelling' guitars available. I have a Pignose Traveler, which is cute, useful, and battery-powered. (It, however, *does* have two 'E's. </guitarists' joke>) |
