An idea that explains, or at least links to all of the obscure 1/2b in-jokes - custard, zero wing etc... the problem is I'm not sure whether this is a good idea or whether people should have to find out for themselves...
Baked.
http://www.halfbakery.com/search.html Well, if you want to find out about Trolls, custard or HBGC. [sdm, Oct 22 2001, last modified Oct 04 2004]
Or try this...
http://www.google.com If you want to find out about AYB. [sdm, Oct 22 2001, last modified Oct 04 2004]
And so an end

There is already prior art in this concept [see link]. |

*hehe* PeterSealy said weenie. |

In-jokes would have been perpetuating the idea that the elder statespersons of the 1/2B are wise and all-knowing, and would have been demonstrating their superiority to naive newbies with their nanobot urinal ideas, and therefore should not be explained or removed, at least not now I've figured most of them out. |
"In-house" jokes are funny only until the latest deluge of newbies starts recycling all the same old hilarious themes. "Out-house" jokes, on the other hand, are always funny. *hehe* sdm said PeterSealy said weenie. |

As I once said to a Bolivian tie salesman, I'm not sure that there *are* that many in-jokes on the 1/2bakery are there? |
If you know an in-joke, you should keep it to your elf, or
else it isn't an in-joke anymore. |
Even the most pathetic idea can get funny anotations... maybe I should go post some more useless ideas... |

As I didn't even know that the bakery existed when this was last annotated I am moved to comment. In jokes are part of the mystery of the forum. If this were too easy to understand there would be no point in doing it. If there was a clear goal to the bakery (serious research of some kind) then the custard would get in the way but really, the custard, elf, cow orker and the rest are the point. Jokes are fun, that's why we are here. |

No, we are here to gratuitously attack "outsiders", foster a form of intolerant elitism, abuse, denigrate, and be politically incorrect. |
That as well. And grammar. And syntax. |
And annotators who start sentences with "And". |
So this idea was posted on my birthday, in 2001. So
there Ian T. So there. |

Is that with or without a bare bodkin ? |
So is an interesting word being less technical than therefore but more directional than and or a comma. |
I found these. I think they might have leaked from one of the annos above. |
If only you could insert them as well. |
Insert them where, exactly ? |
Actually, no, don't answer that ... |
