hula hoop alternator

Take one hula hoop large diameter plastic ring. Wrap it with loads of fine magnet wire to form a coil. The hula hoop is the external stator ring. Arrange for another ring to closely fit inside the coil. This inner ring would turn and its outer perimeter would be fitted with magnets.

It's just like a very large diameter dynamo really but could be made out of scrap bits and pieces. What would be the pro's and cons for this over regular dynamo designs.

       Having bikini models make a kiliwatt of energy in this fashion would certainly generate a high response.   

       Would not be as efficient as the stairmaster on both accounts.
