Turns out that the image hosting site I chose to host most of the sketches and such I posted to illustrate my earliest ideas has killed my account and every link here is dead.
A couple of my past computers up and died without their data transferring to my next computer, and I've moved many times in
the last three years or so. Original copies are... somewhere I've yet to unearth.
ugh
Is there a way to back up an idea-posters' images to a secondary site which isn't going to disappear?
Say ideas with a specific [tag] maybe?
I have no clue if such a thing is even feasible.
I'm just asking... and like totally pissed off that art can be erased so easily.

I lost all mine when googlefuck abandoned Picassa.
I switched to Tumblr and reposted most of the
illustrations and their hb links there. It's a pain but
you can do it over a few months. |

Also, what pertinax said. I looked through your ideas until
I
found an image link, and that resolved in the Wayback
machine (link attached). (copy the link URL, go to
archive.org, and paste it in the box. Probably all of the
capture dates are fine.) |

I'd go through your ideas list now, and save the salvaged images to your HD ASAP - and
worry about which host to use later.
Realistically, I wouldn't trust any free image hosting service to preserve images
indefinitely. |

Never rely on the internet for anything important.
If you want to preserve images for a long time, pretty
much the best way is an archaic device called a
"printer". Computers keep changing (too fast
sometimes...) & anything beyond a jpg will be found to
be unsupported at the most inconvenient time... |

Yes I'm learning that certainly does suck. I can remember needing an eight track adapter to play the first cassette tapes.
People grow weary of endless adaptations and this trend is predicated upon. All new tech, (unless unleashed by accident), is stifled and doled out in the dosages deemed most profitable. |
