No more worries about killers and scammers on the loose. The
authorities know what the criminals are doing and can stop the
crimes before they are committed.
This can be done alongside a worldwide organization so that it
cannot be abused by totalitarian or corrupt regimes.
Actually, with
a worldwide organization, this could be used to
PROTECT the freedom of people in totalitarian countries.
Hmm...

Yes! The regime of Kim Jong, the latest iteration will definitely change the laws of North Korea to allow Go Pros to follow convicted political criminals instead of incarcerating them. I see nothing potentially standing in the way. |

And when this worldwide organisation becomes corrupt,
where will you go to escape it? |

Police can only act once a crime has been committed and the definition of legal changes constantly. There is a very interesting TED talk given by an ex officer stating exactly why you should never tell police anything without a lawyer present. Anything you say can and will be used against you in a court of law. Nothing you say can be used to help you as it will be deemed heasay by opposing council and stricken from record. |

None of us want even more controls placed on our lives, some of us just don't know it yet. |

Well firstly the world already knows, and those regimes know the world knows, and those regimes don't care the world knows.
Secondly the people in more evil regimes (Like Saudi Arabia, NK, China, and certain African countries, not so much Russia) would as soon put targets on their childrens backs as wear a camera themselves, as it's the same thing.
Thirdly, all the cameras would catch after the riot is said cameras being removed and destroyed one at a time.
Fourthly, wearing cameras to a protest isn't related to the original idea, although it's bunworthy on its own if a method could be found that would both get cameras to the protesters and somehow keep said protesters caught with a camera safe from abuse. |
