Fly swatters are disgusting when you think about it. This idea incorporates a multilayer head that is comprised of maybe 8 very thin sheets of plastic than can be peeled off. After you smack the bug, peel off the outside bug-gut spattered layer.

Btw, the peel-off sticky fly swatter is patented, by the look of it http://www.patentst...46-description.html

Disposable plastic consumerism combined with bubble boyesque anti-germ sentiment? Disgusting when think about it.

Aren't the plastic sheets then germy?

       >Aren't the plastic sheets then germy?

Yeah, that's why you peel them off and mail them to someone you don't like

       >Yeah, I always just rinse my swatter off with the hose

ewwww. I don't think sticky bug guts rinse off that well. Maybe you ought to throw that nasty thing away.

what about a sponge on one side that has disinfectant in it(not dripping soaked, just a little wet) so when you smack a fly, it wets/table/person with germ killer where the sponge hit. It really doesn't take much to kill a fly. The sponge probably wouldn't promote the explosion of the fly like hard plastic would either.

       >doesn't leave nasty bug gore in your garbage can

Garbage can? What a waste. Save those bug-soaked sheets for a special someone. Like your neighbor when their dog keeps you up all night.
