       Trouble is, if you need a glass eye because the original is missing, how do you see what the camera sees? And if your original eye is functional, where do you put the glass one?

       there was some work done where a camera was somehow plugged into a completely blind man. It was only black and white, and v low quality, but he was able to make out single digit numbers on a high contrast background.
