a common enough occurrence; there you are - in your car, merrily toddling along at your own pace down the road, when a giant paper sheet from a hoarding / billboard is whisked by the wind in your general direction and you are now blinded to the road ahead of you.

of course, the obvious thing is to slow down but you might like to deploy your dapper wrapper zapper. it is either electrically or manually operated and consists of a rotating pair of cylinders; each encircled with sharp barbs (a bit like great grandma’s mangle with attitude) that ascends up the windscreen, along the top of the car and down the rear window, mangling the paper as it goes. it goes back and forth until all the paper is gone and you either stop turning the handle (cheap option) or switch it off (electrical & expensive, totty attractive option). remove for cleaning (both it and the car).

buy now, it’s the windy season.

It's windy here too, although the road hazard tends to be plastic bags.

Perhaps it should be a legal requirement for all billboard sheets to be pre-punched with eyeholes.

So your windscreen is clear of rubbish, but now you can't see for all the scratches on the glass...

it doesn't touch the glass, its not another wiper.
