If you want to get copper through your
skin, and you wear a wristwatch, this is
the product for you. If you don't wear a
wristwatch, you can start wearing one.
No funny looks from people who don't
have a clue. It just looks like a design
choice.
The copper-dependent enzyme, lysyl
oxidase,
is required for the maturation
(cross-linking) of collagen.
minerals/copper/) In other words,
maintaining all of the major structural
and
elastic protein (collagen and elastin) of
your body requires adequate copper
(blood vessels, bones, tendons,
everything).
Copper deficiency is not rare. One
symptom of bad collagen synthesis is
joint
pain. Skin absorption is the best way to
get copper.

And if you're embarrassed about wearing a wristwatch...
Copper_20Patch (Not sure why you'd be embarrassed about wearing a copper bangle, but I guess it might leave a greenish tinge on your skin.) [DrCurry, Jul 14 2006]

Aha. But, watching "House" last night, I discovered that if your body retains copper, you will suffer from Wilson's Disease. Which sends you mad. Perhaps that could be a caveat on the packaging. |

There are many copper medical bracelets for this purpose, also. I have about 8 different styles at home. I'll find a link for them. |
