I would like to hook up a turbine to the top of my air conditioning compressor capturing the exhaust wind. I live in s fla and run the air 9-10 months. I need a special turbine to catch the wind. Any suggestions.

I can't think why you'd want to do this. You'd get a only a small amount of electricity and any impediment to the exhaust would risk overheating the air conditioner.

I think this is an idea; but with a request for enhancements.

Using the energy of the air-stream pumped out by the compressor might be a good idea. Unfortunately I suspect there's too little to harness as free-flowing; and if you forced the work then you'd add load to your air-conditioning, which would increase your power bill...

A less intensive attempt might work better; such as passing it through a heat exchanger to pre-warm your hot water system.

That's a good use, [v3]. And very good point about not getting free power out of the exhaust. It's not very powerful, anyhow.

A spirally windspinner with big big vanes would work best. You could loop a string through holes in your wall, and maybe run an even smaller windspinner as a fan.

I think you mean condenser, rather than compressor.

A real hamster would of course be cheaper.
