For lightly soiled clothing (shirts and... shirts?), closet uses ion pump plus gentle agitation (low level vibration in hanger-bar?) to clean items placed within. Reduces wear on clothing and is convenient. Cleaning is very low-level in the sense that a shirt must hang in the closet approx. 24-48 hours
before it is fully clean. Maybe there's something like a steam cycle to eliminate/reduce wrinkles.
Besides the convenience of having such a system, it could make a great franchise business: patent the system along with support systems (installation/retrofit kits, etc.).
Nanoscale Ion Pumps

1) I'm not convinced this would clean anything
2) If it works, I'm guessing I end up with piles of dirt on the floor of my closet... |

If your "ionic pump" is similar to the Ionic Breeze, it will do virtually nothing ... |

first: this is the HALF bakery.
second: we only need to attach (for a modest fee) a vacuum to collect dirt/lint/change and evacuate it to neighbors yard/ organic garden/ gift box for mother in law, what have you. |

Please explain the ion pump. How exactly does it make the dirt fall out of your clothes? |
|
|
I suppose the dirt particles laugh so hard at the ludicrousness (is that a word?) of an ion pump that they lose hold of the clothing and fall into the vacuum installed by oneironaught's secondary franchise. |

I'm not sure about washing, but it sounds a good idea for avoiding ironing. Better than hanging your clothes in a steamy bathroom, at least. |
