Like one of those rambling multi-structure facilities one finds near tourist beaches, but an actual labyrinth. Beer bars abound in the outer layers, yet as one penetrates deeper, more sophisticated delivery systems prevail. Likewise, the clientele becomes increasingly elite as one approaches the sanctorum.
If one is doughty enough to reach the discocreamy centre, an environment in which all thought and speech are completely obviated by sheer good looks may be experienced. Otherwise, cleverly trained monkeys shall summarily deposit one's insensible body in a hotel room next to a complete stranger.
Mazes and Labyrinths

Even reading this makes me slightly disorientated. |

A maze sounds like an interesting layout for a nightclub. You could call it something obscure like 'The left-hand wall.' |
// 'The left-hand wall.' // |
Or, 'The Left-Hand Path' ? |
Surely you can find a more appropriate category for this, once the monkeys depart. |

I didn't understand the first sentence.
Thought maybe a Brittish oddity. |

When I picture a doughty soul in such a maze, I do not picture Legolas and Arwen sipping ice wine amid crystalline flowers. I think these doughty folks would be balding redheaded pipefitters and their ladies, bruised from stumbling into things, teeth in disrepair, ready to punch you or buy you beers all night or both. |
Sounds more like a "Mines of Moria" themed bar ... |

<pedant> Is this a maze or a labyrinth? Is reaching the discocreamy centre simply a matter of time (and ability to drink copiously), as in a labyrinth with just one route? Or is it a maze, with the possibility of taking wrong turns and reaching dead ends? </pedant> |

Either way, sounds good to me. [+] |

Can their be ghouls? Perhaps a minotaur? Will I need to outfit my party and occasionally return to the surface to deposit my loot and upgrade my armor and stuff? 'Cause that would rock. |

..... orcs and a Balrog ..... |

Add some overpasses, tunnels, and/or dynamic walls, so it can't be done by the 'keeping your hand on a wall' method. |
...Although, if the goal was the center rather than an exit, that method wouldn't work anyway. It would still be better, though. |

YOU SHALL NOT PASS...OUT!!! |

You know, I can't help but [+] any idea that involves both cleverly trained monkeys and "sophisticated delivery systems" for booze |
Also arrows that ACTUALLY tell you the way to the center so they can be disbelieved by all but the drunk [+] |

All walls instantly disappear in the presence of a) fire and b) a health and safety inspector. |
