bear scarer

 a device that you open up (like an umbrella) that scares grizzlies

If you had one of these when you are hiking or fishing, and a bear comes toward you, you just open it up. It has HUGE eyes on it and looks menacing. The bear turns around fast and leaves you alone.

       Not so sure about that.
Clapping works, stomping your feet works, yelling works, heck even singing works, but don't run. 		  

       If you come across a bear eating a carcass, heading towards its cubs or with a tooth ache, use the umbrella to impale yourself.
