auto-3D sunglasses
Use auto sunglasses polarizing lenses to make regular glasses become 3D in the dark | |
One lens would become Red, the other Green.
I hesitated posting this one because there are so many 3D glasses posting, but I didn't quite see this.

regular glasses *are* three dimensional |
You mean in all three dimensions, right, [po]? |
I think TC is trying to say that your regular sunglasses would become the 3D glasses that are handed out when you walk into a 3D movie. |
You would also have to set the up so that one lens could be horizontally polorized and the other would be vertically polorized as some movies are shown this way. |

Even if this were possible... having the trigger mechanism activated by darkness means you wouldn't be able to see anything. |
Actually, I think if darkness was the trigger it could be fine so long as there was a slight delay, and/or the "back-trigger" to regular mode required a level of ambient light that would not normally be present in the theater. |
