It goes something like this..

A panel of contestants stand behind the good old game show horseshoe podiums under the bright studio lights.

The host at random selects a modern day subject (no altruism or cynicism here) it's the first to hit the buzzer to answer and return with their short pithy instructive saying..eg:(topic) "Mass ratio" 1-2-3-4-Bzzzzzzz..

(contestant) "Its easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle if its been through a blender first" quote unquote =10 points (topic) "Hallucinations" 3-4-5-6 "must hurry you now" Bzzzzzzz(contestant) "Cogito cogito ergo cogito sum" quote unquote. =10 points(topic)"Cutlery"...Bzzz..Bzzzz (contestant) "If you come to a fork in the road take it" more points and so on..

Subjects could include modern day warfare, automotive assembly, pizza,Ken and Barbie, sex, astrophysics, pets etc..etc.

The end result after half an hour is a bunch of contestants being helped off the podium by a large number of psychiatrists supporting them as they (contestants) drag their craniums along the gameshow floor, with the winner a proud owner of a 2 day pass to the Plato and Wittgenstein theme park and $1500 in gift vouchers(there's a thought).

I'm sure there must be thousands of aphorism's to play with to modern society lifestyle. Bzzzzzzzzzz.."I don't even butter my bread;i consider that cooking"..."mmm"..dribble .. what was the topic again?"..."croissant?".dribble

There might be 'ways' [skinflaps]...

I am incredibly confused right now.

It's ok I'm getting used to the feeling here at the H.B. Just thought I'd share that in case someone wants to clue me in

<tourguide> [-2fry], you are now standing in a place of historical significance to the Halfbakery. However, this is not the original place, and this marker does not give any facts about it. I will say, though, that there is a broken piece of stone over in yonder corner which says, "Don't start that again!" and it may (this is only speculation) be in the moderator's handwriting. </tourguide>
