The two letter abbreviation you want to, erm, stick in there is "VR", not "AI". Artificial Intelligence has nothing to do with it. |

You came up with those links pretty quickly Jutta. |

I was sort of looking forward to reading about an ai sexual device. I figured it would learn about both of us and offer suggestions, demonstrate techniques, etc. You could leave it hooked up to the net and they could all interact with each other and exchange information, eventually creating the ultimate sex-partner helper/reference tool. |

Detly, that link only works for people who are subscribers. <You and PeterSealy should get together on this...> |

Hippo, the FuFme one is one I've posted several times when this idea came <ahem> up again... |

this is nothing new. i read an article about in Yahoo! Internet Life a few years back. theres already research and development into building entire suits for over-the-internet sex. |

We are getting to the point where a first-generation AI sex robot would be possible, though. I'm thinking it would just have two big buttons, one labelled "oh yeah baby, do it like that" and one that says "um, I guess that's alright," and it would generate vibration rhythms & patterns that you'd select between. (Genetic algorithms might work well.) I'd use it. <3 |

reading this made me realise the overapreciative sense that the "usb" concept is starting to get. i can hardly find a computer related idea that's not based on "usb". it's starting to be either something magical that makes everything possible and logical or, if not, something irrelevantly pleonastic. the next time i see "usb" i won't be surprised to find out it helps Tinkerbell bake muffins or something |
[sweet] - it's because the "U" in "USB" stands for 'universal' -- what couldn't you do with something that's universal? |
I keep reading the first word as "ai" (the Japanese word for "love") - and I imagine the Japanese may have already invented this. |

I read this idea and immediately thought to myself, "what if both options were attached to the same computer?" Add in the underdeveloped AI element, and well... you might want to move your PC out of the bedroom. |
Then of course, we have to start worrying about computers breeding, and stealing our jobs, and the little kiddy computers that had both mac and PC parents would get marginalized. Just a nightmare, really. |
I thought the idea was just going to be a drawing of a dildo in Adobe Illustrator. |

//What if there was a device that attached
to a usb port on the back of a computer
and simulated a vagina or Penis?// |
But what if there wasn't? |
