Some people buy bottled water, apparently because of its stylistic properties.
I propose a new stream of revenue. Ice Lollies.
These could be sold individually alongside the traditional sugary lollies.
Intended markets:
Health fanatics
Fashion victims
People who normally buy
vanilla icecream
The factory could rapidly produce many flavours with minimal retooling:
Buxton, Volvic, Evian, Perrier and Highland spring
Although you'd have to rinse the equipment in-between to prevent carry-over.
These could be distinguished by different 'textures' (as well as shapes) to reflect the style of water:
Completely clear
frosted finish
containing tiny bubbles
Snow Cream

the sad thing about this is that it will actually happen. God help us. |

Make this glacier ice, and I'd go for it (that stuff fizzes and pops). Otherwise this is just selling icicles. |
Throw some sugar in there and I'm sold... I used to fancy flavor-less slushies (ask for no syrup). The ice slush apparently already has sugar in it, tastes pretty good. |
Now all we have to do is invent a device so cunning that we can mass produce frozen water! How soon can you start the marketing campaign [Loris] my money is already available for venture capital investment. |
(Why would they put the sugar in the Slush sounds like a rather unnecessary stage?) |

Note: The old Urban legend was that Mac D's would put ice in drinks to save money by not having to give away Coke. Another Urban legend was that a MAc D's Employee who wanted to dispel this myth did the maths and worked out that the Coke was actually cheaper than producing the Ice Cubes. |

Don't forget Dasani(C) lolly's, made with real, fresh tap water. They are so cold you won't taste the Chlorine. |
Quiescently frozen, I presume? |
When I was little, we'd stick tongue depressors in the ice cube trays and put it in the freezer, then when it was frozen we'd have something very similar to this. |
Now, I put water bottles in the freezer overnight, and it literally lasts for hours outside the freezer if you need it to. |

Same concept. So I'd say this is somewhat baked. UNLESS you could make Water Push-Up Pops with Fred Flintstone and Barney Rubble on the side...I'd buy that. |
