eerm if you need a hearing aid then how would you hear where the thing is?! |
I think that's the point ponda...:) |
I dont know if it is... A madly vibrating one would be useful. Although the tiny components might be shaken about too much. And what if someone claps behind you your head would be rattled and your brain would heamorrage. Cool |
i'm assuming that since it beeps to help you find it, you're not wearing it. would you be able to hear the beeps then? |
how about a bright flash, like blind people's phones? |
Why not keep it on a piece of string tied to your wrist? You wouldn't lose it then! |
Piece the deaf persons ear and attach ear ring to hearing aid via chain. Very Skid Row |
Blind people's phones ring with a "bright flash"? I don't get this; blind people can't see the flash, and they can hear a normal ring just fine. |
Surely you're talking about phones for deaf people? |
I mentioned this to my wife (who wears one) and she laughed so much the baby nearly arrived early. She only takes hers off at night, and when she does it gets turned off. The idea that it might get lost, like glasses, is not really much of a problem. |
Are you actually speaking from experience when you say "Never lose the blasted thing again"? |
Yep, I second Super Glue - just needs to be attached once, carefully, and you will never get dust in your ear either. |
Duh, and when the battery goes flat? |
Got another ear, don't you? |
I was thinking more along the lines of a "clap to activate" thing. Grandpa not paying attention? "Hey! *clap* *clap*, Gramps!" |
Blind peoples phones + lights = Unanswered phones.
Hearing aids + beepers = Unanswered phones.
Land + Pixelswisher = Unanswered phones.
Nobody's Home. As it happens, I have been 85% deaf [profoundly] since birth @ 40 [280 dog] years. I can assure you that a deaf person finding something emitting a low decibel beep without the benefit of a Hearing Aid is unheard of. |

i think the piece of string tied to your wrist would work best. then you could never lose it...
unless you lost your wrist. then that would really suck. |
