Incidentally, why isn't "spacecraft" another word for "interior design"?

A conical glass enclosure - sizes vary between 200mm and 1500mm tall - with a tapered core, on which are rings at different voltages to produce the "branch" effect of plasma tendrils. Argon gas would give the green colour.

Prior Art acknowledged.

Do not water.

How low a pressure is needed to sustain the plasma? Could one convert, say, a mid-sized conservatory into a low-pressure oxygen chamber complete with plasma? I know I've seen a guy who wears a chain-mail suit and pulls huge arcs from Tesla coils.

Why so small? Gas pressure issues notwithstanding, it needs to go at least to the ceiling, if not "we're going to need a bigger house" size.
