This idea is of a box that would have in it a speaker, a remote receiver, and digitally stored audio files saying something like "Ooh! Ooh! Pick me! Pick me!" or "I know the answer!" There would also be a remote control to trigger the box to talk.

You could set the voice to any of a number of voices, then hide it in someone's desk (or an unused desk) at school. Push the remote and... my, that guy over there seems to know everything today, doesn't he?

UPDATE: Actually, it would also be neat if you set the box to something like "Mwahahahahaha! They called me mad, did they? Well now, with (etc. etc.), I shall RULE the WORLD!!! Mwahahahahaha! Mwahahahaha!"

...and set it under someone's table in the science fair.

Now, if this was an elongating fake arm that children could wear in order to be noticed by the teacher, I'd get out of my car, pull out a croisant from the inside pocket of my trench coat, and offer you a lift home. Does that sound like fun? Come on then, in you get. Come with Uncle Leopard.

oh, i wish i'd had a long fake arm in my school days. i nearly displaced a shoulder once trying to get the teacher's attention when i knew the answer for the gagillionth time, but had not yet learned her system of dividing the questions equally among students. another time i lost all feeling in my fingers, i had my arm up so long. (silly girl)

actually, this box would have been handy, too.
