Good grief! Why not just put salt on the bandage and let the victim rub it in?

Could we be a little less patronizing in the messages at least? Genuinely helpful tips that don't sound like I-told-you-so or scolding would be a good start.

"A very sharp knife requires less effort and allows better control."
"A pair of riding gloves will make your cycling experience more comfortable and can reduce the occurrance of road rash."

It's not a list; it's just an unordered collection of similarly themed annotations...

For those of use who don’t mind lying slightly to make us seem tough:

“This is what you get from fighting bears”

“Next time think twice before pushing an old lady out of the way of a lightening strike.”
AO, Jan 16 2004

or "Press here for a beating".
silverstormer, Jan 16 2004

SOLD! I want mine to say "Next time: shiny-side up" and the ever popular "Don't do that next time."
Letsbuildafort, Jan 16 2004

Don't forget the ever-popular "You should see the other guy" and "I attended Mardis Gras but all I got was this festering sore"
moPuddin, Jan 16 2004

"This is my blister from Halfbaking too much."
babyhawk, Jan 17 2004

I ran into a lampost the other day while out running. Got a rather nasty gash on my forehead as a result. On the basis of that, I'd like ones with a little arrow pointing downwards which say "I'm With Stupid".
lostdog, Jan 17 2004

       'Do not open until Xmas.'
oneoffdave, Jan 20 2004

       "Give my creation life!"
Detly, Jan 22 2004

       "My other finger is unscathed"
stupop, Jan 22 2004

And on that note, "If you can read this, you're too close to my festering wound".
Worldgineer, Jan 22 2004

John 3:16 of course for sporting events
smok44, Jan 22 2004
