Provide a positive social service while giving Pillsbury a place to promote and field test their new 'easy bake fresh and hot out of the oven in a minute quick popin' no time to waste before Everyone Loves Raymond I don't care about the preservatives and genetically modified ingredients God Bless America' products.

For the practical minded, restrict customer dining to once a week. Maybe it could be limited to an all you 'should' eat buffet.

Nice idea, except it'll probably be used most by those least likely to be able to afford the products advertised (students, the unemployed...) You might want to have some system of invitations to ensure you only get the advertisers' target market.

"All you should eat" reminds me of a joke:

A guy orders the special: "All you can eat for just $2.99." He finishes the first serving and asks for more. "I'm sorry," says the waitress, "that's all you can eat for just $2.99."

Actually, I just realized the punch line depends on voice inflection to work, and probably falls flat in print. Oh, well.

"If that's all … 'you done. Clear out, now. All 'you can eat tomorrow again, 'less, I say so." Tough to figure, still, heavenly curried goat ala orange' (?limon).

[reensure], whatdja talkin about? is that dialectual? or a bizarre metaphor?
lewisgirl, Dec 06 2001

Creole (near as I get). What's bizarre is why more people don't use the term 'allaual'. I guess that, in the spirit of this free food idea, when speech is free only the poor will speak.

I know a number of you are still smarting from failed investments in the late 90's and early 00's, but there are many successful examples of advertisement paid services, such as US television/radio and Yahoo to name just a few.

And PeterSealy, Church is by no means free.

Thanks for the comments. Best regards.

Wouldn't do a whole hell of a lot of good for advertisers were it located next to School for The Blind.

Ooohh! [beauxeault]: That's one of my all-time favorite jokes! I kid you not...

I concur. 'Tis funny and works fine in print.
