The basic premise of Zuma is that you are classifying colored balls with little emotion-faces on them (red for anger, yellow for fear, green for peace, blue for joy, purple for ecstacy) by placing them together with like-colored balls. The balls arise randomly from a central frog - reptillian brain stem, and if you can classify these emotions together with eachother they disappear and dont come crashing in on you. If you cant classify them fast enough things get too confused and you cant manage, just like the real world.

My thought is that the basic premise of the game is great so development should make the game more like classifying emotions in the real world - associate music chords with each emotion ball, or make it easier to classify the balls so that the bottle neck isn't the physical act of classifying them but the mental classification.
