After finding out why standard liquid detergent is never found in manual spray-bottles, it occurs to me that it wouldn't be too difficult to have one of the settings on the nozzle assembly (you know, where it says "stream" "spray" and "off"... and another "off") reverse the flow, ie: suck any liquid
in the nozzle back down the line. This would keep the nozzle clear of shelftime-induced clogs.

I can see how this would be done, but I cannot see how it would improve the reliability of the device at all. You did realize that you can invert the bottle and squeeze the trigger to achieve the same effect, right? |
