X-Pens
Exotic Pen Naming Services | |
Inspired by linked idea, but surely a few thousand years too
late as an idea!
The pen may be mightier than the sword, but how come it
doesn't get the cool sword treatment? How insulting, as it
is they, after all, that were coming up with all those cool
names! As they become the
stuff of
legend in our electronic world, it is time we start
naming pens and infuse them with the magical properties
they surely possess in abandon.

My great-great-grandfather's grandfather was said to be a writer for the King. I now posess his mighty Pen, Scriblar: a symbol of his honor and bravery. One day, my son, Scriblar will be yours. I pray that you will never have to use it. |

Three Pens for the Graven Kings under the scribe, Seven for the Draft-lords with their balls of stone, Nine were Exhortal Pens loomed to dye, One for the Mark Board where its Mark shone. In the Land of Wordor where the Scribbles lie. One Pen to xool them all, One Pen to line them,
One Pen to wring them all and in markness opine them. In the land of Wordor where the scribbles lie. |

Beware the power of Odile! Made from the longest
feather of a black swan queen, she will use soaring
romantic poetry to make you forget your true love,
the simple limerick. |

I named mine Shelley - in truth, I was hoping to say
something truly profound, perhaps to match
Ozymandias. But what I got instead was "The
Mummy Versus Frankenstein". |

The Indelible Marker writes; and, having writ,
Moves on: nor all thy Elbow-grease nor Wit,
Shall lure it back to cancel half a Line,
Nor all thy Tears wash out a Word of it. |
