Wrist-mounted record player/wristwatch.

A wristwatch-sized strap on turntable on which LPs can be mounted. A thin, telescopic arm radiates from the spindle in the centre ending in a stylus and a folding trumpet is placed on it, which is otherwise stored in a drawer underneath the spindle. When not being used for playback, the arm points through the minute on the central dial and a second, shorter telescopic arm indicates the hour. This arm can also be used to play singles.

       Cool. Check out the link.

As a Plan B, you could have tubular bracelet, made of a wax cylinder, that I think would be able to play no matter the orientation of the forearm..

The player would of course need to be connected by a bifurcated Gosport tube to a large horn attached to each epaulette, so as to produce the necessary quality of stereo reproduction.

My husband would love this. He is a collector of all things LP. We have rooms with nothing else in them. So a huge + from me, so they will finally get played.

[+] but I'm thinking of either a wristwatch that plays itty-bitty records, or something like a wall-clock turntable.

+ what [FT] said. cool idea, but regular sized LPs would be a bit unstable.

What [nmr] said. Cylindrical tube records would make more sense.
