This game comes with an attachment adapter for the Wiimote, consisting of an adjustable strap which may be worn around the head.
The primary game starts with Japanese cultural training. It presents you as a Western traveller staying in a number of Japanese settings for an extended business tour.
Unlockable
extensions or additional downloadable games available for Sunni or Shiite Muslim, Jewish, Hawaiian, French, Polynesian, Massai, etc.
The puts you with a number of persons of different societal ranks and scenarios, from children to dignitaries, and gages your greeting response to them, each scenario becoming more complex and socially awkward. Did you bow at the correct height and a reasonable number of seconds, for the rank of the person and situation encountered? Did you bow with the proper hand positions for your gender? If there are multiple players, did they bathe in the proper order using the common bathtub? Did you offer the correct hand to shake? Did you choose the proper greeting phrase?

Isn't //Wii Cultural Competence// an oxymoron? |
It started life as Wii Bow for Japanese bowing simulation for which you'd need some physically interactive system such as the Wii, but got expanded. |

I'm not as enthusiastic about the "cultural competence"
thing. |

Does it come with battledress and an M-16 ? |

Nice. This could be sold along side the Rosetta Stone language learning software. Oh, and what [mouseposter] said. |

Is there a module for "culture of the streets"? |
I suppose we could create modules for Chav culture, Irish traveler culture, gangster culture, etc. but I draw the line at French Canadian or Arizonan. |
Tautology. There is no culture in french Canada. |
