Whizzers
AKA Urine Colouring (UC) sweets | |
When I was younger, all of my school were given some pill- probably a vaccine- because someone had caught meningitis. Anyway, this pill coloured my urine orange for several toilet stops later. I have yet to research the cause of this, but I do not see while some sweet could not also do this for the novelty
value. Obviously this sweet would be more suited to little boys rather than little girls, and would also have to taste good. I would happily pay 50p (75c) for a UC sweet, even now.
There could also be FC sweets which change faeces colour!
various drugs and the colours you may find your urine before bedtime

hehe. I know my son would like this but I think it might really bother parents (and perhaps urologists as well). Nonetheless . . . a croissant. |
Now if you could get it so that it produced different colors over time . . . |
As a kid, I was prescribed some medication for a kidney condition which had this effect. There were three colo(u)rs: orange, red (which was very disquieting), and green. The colors were vibrant. Unfortunately it's not the sort of thing you share with others. ("Hey check this out guys.. told you I was an alien!") |

DeWitts pills turn your water blue. |
Blood red for the perfect nasty halloween joke? |
And what does a De Witt's do, dear? |
[quarterbaker] Turn your water blue apparently. |
Food coloring tablets will do the same thing. |
LOL dear qb, I think they were for backache! |
Ah, Doan's Pills, also for back ache, result in a blue color as well. Coincidence? Something else -- a diuretic, if I remember correct -- turned my urine brilliant green.
waugs - Didn't you learn that sharing is caring? |
Depends on whether the person you're sharing with is into that. |
It never hurts to look (um, unless it's UV or IR). |
I've got vitamin B12 pills that turn my pee bright bright yellow (nearly fluorescing under normal light).
Pills that make your pee glow in the dark would be good for those of us who can't be bothered to put the lights on at night. |

When someone asks why you're staring into the commode after two hours you can say, "This is the coolest disco ever, what was the name again?" [added: thx, ¯rjo666: for the improved idea name, that is.] |

Artificial purple coloring, like that in Grape flavored "food" turns your pooh bright green if you consume enough of it. Try it yourself with a gallon of Grape Koolaide. I've often thought that a grape-coloring pill with a green coating would go over well on St Patty's day. Or as a novelty gag, on the shelf beside fish flavored candy. |
If you can convince kids that beets area kind of candy, they might enjoy the pink / purple - colored urine that results. |
Great idea have a croissant |
The sweet could colour both urine and faeces, and some interesting colour combinations could be formed eg. Blue urine, Red faeces. This would be twice as groovy. |
Aw, you had to go and ruin it all, didn't you, rjo666? |
Mmmm red faeces, off to the proctoligist with me then. It'd make a v.nasty prank item though. |
For St. Patrick's Day in O'Neill, Nebraska USA, they put something in the beer that makes everyone pee shamrock green. |
Not much to do in these small towns. |
rjo666 is quite the patriot |
Hmm. Kind of croissant, because I know I and all big
kids would find it hilarious to change the colour of
our urine. |
But... taking pills for amusement? For kids? Bit of a
flaw. "Hey kids, take these whizzers, they make your
whizz blue! But don't take any other pills, even with
similar names; no poppers, no uppers, no ..." |
