Whispering Candy
White noise generating breath mint that allows you to mouth a tune. | |
Sweet effervescent tablets that, as it dissolves,
generates a low
level white noise sound that you can modulate by moving
the
shape of your mouth.
You could see if this works by putting an Alka Seltzer
tablet in
your mouth. I know they used to sell fizzy candy but
don't know
if it
generated enough sound to do this with. You may
have to
modify the design to be as noisy as possible. To make it
louder
may have to use science or something.

Well, the singing would come from the person . The candy
would only generate the white noise that would b be
manipulated by the person's mouth. Maybe whistling would
be a better description. |

I scared myself the other day on the motorcycle. Opening your mouth at speed changes the sound inside the helmet, and without thinking I let my mouth open at speed, simulating a vehicle nearing sound. |

Sounds like a tree. Properly weighed, the diver could drag it down with him/her. Probably best to stick close to the surface, as light levels deeper might not support photosynthesis. |

I'm going to change this to whispering candy
because as everybody has alluded to, singing
modifies a sine wave of varying frequency. This
would be modifying white noise creating a whisper. |

As for the volume you could get, anything's
possible, the trick would be coming up with
something loud enough that could still be
considered "candy". Something that would, for
instance, melt a hole in the bottom of your jaw
would make bad candy. |

On the other hand, it would only be necessary for
the person to hear themselves whispering. |

Didn't I post something years ago called "Wind
singing" or something? I was running on the beach
and notices you could do this with the wind. You
can do it on a motorcycle as Norm pointed out. |
