If you don't remember Weebles, see link.

Now, imagine a really big Weeble, about 8 inches (20.32cm) tall, with the top chopped off, and hollowed out in the middle to hold liquid.

Self-balancing, un-tippable. And fun to look at and play with.

Weeble Wobbles wobble but they don't fall down. An excellent party gag and wonderful for children. Have a wobbly pastry.

I remember Hardee's (the fast food burger joint) had a promo several years ago for an "unspillable cup". It was a flexible plastic/foil thingy that was about 6 inches horizontal diameter, 3 inches high, and had rounded edges. I wish I had kept one, that was the weirdest durn looking cup I done e're seen!!

       Ballast is baked.

       Why do you think that?
DeathNinja, Aug 30 2003

...so perhaps a flip-straw device inserted into the top of the head rather than chopping it off.

Yeah, like those egg shaped salt shakers that always turn up on The Antiques Roadshow. these nay-sayers [DN], I love the idea. And I love weebles. Do they still make them?

Whilst looking to see whether or not they still make weebles I found that there is a big difference between the UK and the US ones. It's disturbing. The American ones scare me and I can't quite work out why. They just seem wrong somehow.

But if they wobbled, won't that spill at least part of your drink anyway?
See link for alternative method - I've got one of these decanters and it works a treat. am sure you could make a cup the same...
